Reimbursement of Tuition Fee for SC/ST/OBC/Minority, Delhi

  • Managed by:- Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC
  • Eligibility:-
    • The candidates must be SC, ST, OBC, or Minority categories.
    • The applicants must be the domicile of Delhi.
    • For minorities, for the past three years, the applicants must reside in Delhi.
    • The applicants must study in class 1 to 12 of a school or school that is a member of the Department of Education, Govt. Delhi NCT / Delhi municipal authorities.
  • Documents needed:-
    • Delhi Domicile certificate
    • Mark sheet copy
    • Caste certificate for ST/SC/OBC applicants
    • Pass-Book / E-Statement of the student bank account copy

  • Family income:- The annual family income shall not be higher than INR 2 Lakh.

  • Benefits:-
    • Students from class one to five receive tuition and another obligatory fee refund. Studies and additional mandatory tuition fee, which is 50 percent and higher and has a minimum attendance of 80 percent for the previous year reimbursed to those from class six to twelve.
    • Also, INR 60,000 yearly family income students reimbursed 100%, and those who have an annual INR 2 Lakh family income receive 75% fee reimbursement.

Financial Assistance to SC/ST/OBC/Minority, Delhi

  • Eligibility:-
    • The applicants must be the domiciles of Delhi.
    • For the minorities, for the past three years, the applicants must live in Delhi.
    • The candidates must be in the SC, ST, OBC, or minority categories.
    • The applicants must study at a recognized school from classes 1 to 12.
    • The candidates must not have an attendance of less than 70% in the previous class.

    • Caste certificate in case the applicant belongs to SC/ST/OBC category.

Scholarship/Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority (Class 1 to 12), Delhi

  • Eligibility:-
    • The categories of SC, ST, OBC, or minorities shall belong to the applicants. Must study at a government school in Delhi in classes 1 to 12.
    • The family income must not exceed INR 2 Lakh per annum.
    • The candidates must have the domicile of Delhi to eligible.
    • For the past three years, in the case of minorities, the applicants must be resident in Delhi.

    • If the claimant belongs to the Minority Group, a parent/guardian declaration in a specified format that his or her child is a minority.
  • Benefits:-
    • Students from the SC / ST / Minority Classes 1 to 8 receive INR 1000 per year.
    • In Class 6 to 8, students with a score of 55% to 60% in the prior-grade study receive INR 600 per year, while students with a rating higher than 60% receive INR 720 per year.
    • Students from SC / ST / OBC / Minority studying in grades 9-10 with an average score of 55%-60% receive an annual INR 1620, and those who have scored more than 60% given INR 2040 per annum.
    • Students from the classes 11 to 12 with a previous grade rating of 55% to 70% get an annual INR 3000 for SC / ST / OBC / Minority. Students who have earned more than 70% get 4500 INR per annum.

Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Minority, Delhi

  • Eligibility:-
    • The applicants must have Delhi’s domicile.
    • The applicants must be in the SC, ST, OBC, or minority categories.
    • Applicants must study at recognized universities, professional institutions, and technical institutions.
    • In the previous academic year, candidates should not have earned less than 60%.
    • However, students in OBC and minority categories must have an annual family income of INR 2 Lakh. The SC / ST students do not qualify for the family income criterion.
    • For minorities, for the past three years, the applicants have to be resident in Delhi.
  • Requirements:-
    • Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidate
    • Income certificate in case the applicant belongs to OBC/Minority community
    • An affidavit in case of up to 3 years of academic gap

Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students, Delhi

  • Eligibility:-
    • To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicants must belong to the OBC category. Must be in class 1-10.
    • The applicants must be Delhi domiciled.
    • The family income of the candidate must not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh per annum.

Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students

    • To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must fall into the OBC category.
    • The applicants must be Delhi domiciled.
    • The family income of the candidate must not exceed INR 1 Lakh per annum.

    • The candidate must be in the Scheduled Caste category.

    • In India, applicants must complete post-matriculation / post-secondary studies.

    • Applicants who study different subjects at the same level after completing one level of education are not eligible to apply.

  • Eligibility:-
    • The candidate must be under a minority (only Muslims and Neo-Buddhists).
    • The family income per annum must be up to INR 1 lakh.
    • In Class 1 to 12, applicants must study.

  • How to apply:- The candidates can apply for the scholarship via their respective schools or send a request directly to SC / ST / OBC / Minority Welfare Department.

Delhi Ladli Scheme

  • Managed by:- Department of Women and Child Development, New Delhi
  • Eligibility:-
    • Under this scheme, only girl candidates are eligible to apply.
    • The girl child must be born in Delhi, and the issuing birth certificate must be from the Registrar (Births & Deaths), MCD, or NDMC.
    • The parents/guardians shall be the residents of the Delhi National Capital Territory for at least three years before birth.
    • The yearly family income must not be up to INR 1 Lakh.
    • If the girl study at school, the Delhi Government/ MCD / NDMC must recognize her school.
    • The scheme restricts to 2 girls per household.
  • Application period:-September to October
  • How to apply:-
    • Obtain the form from district offices (Social Welfare Department/ WCD, Delhi Government), or SBI or Schools recognized by the government.
    • After filling the form and attaching the required documents, submit the way to the concerned District Officer.
